LRA Worldwide SVP John Roberto to Moderate Panel at 10th Annual Vacation Ownership Investment
HORSHAM, Pennsylvania; October 3, 2008 – John Roberto, Senior Vice President of LRA Worldwide, Inc., will moderate a panel at the 10th Annual Vacation Ownership Investment Conference next week in Orlando. Roberto, who is the Managing Director of the firm’s Quality Assurance practice, will facilitate a panel titled “Designing for Tomorrow’s Buyers,” on Wednesday, October 8th at 11:30 AM at The Peabody Orlando.
The conference, which takes place October 6-9, is the foremost event focusing on successful timeshare resort development, branding, financing, marketing, sales, and management. Industry experts will share their insights with attendees on the myriad of trends and topics that drive the fast-moving timeshare industry. Roberto joins a roster of speakers that includes representatives from most of the biggest companies in timeshare and hospitality, including Interval International, Marriott Vacation Club International, American Resort Development Association and Smith Travel Research, among others.
“It was an amazing opportunity to share thoughts and insights into future timeshare buyers with a group of industry leaders who are focused on this topic 24/7,” Roberto said. “I’m excited to participate in the conference and feel that LRA’s point of view on the importance of ‘customer experience design’ will serve as a nice balance to some of the brick and mortar design discussions.”
The “Designing for Tomorrow’s Buyers” panel will cover how all facets of design must be driven by consumer preferences and ultimately how they impact the purchase decision. Specifically, the panel will delve into how architecture, landscaping, interior design, and the new trends toward “green” consumerism are affecting the design and overall economics of vacation ownership properties. Roberto will moderate the discussion between the following panelists:
- Jeffrey D. Forrest, President, Winter Park Construction;
- Phil Loria, Director of National Accounts, Guest Supply, Inc.;
- Bill Weeks, Associate Principal, Morris Architects.
