LRA Names New Director for Senior Housing Activities
LRA Worldwide Names Williams to Direct Company's Assisted Living and Senior Housing Industry Activities
HORSHAM, Pennsylvania; January 15, 2002 - Sharon Lynn Williams has been appointed a Senior Consultant at LRA, with principal responsibilities for directing the company's activities in the senior housing, independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, adult day care, home health, and acute care industries throughout North America. This includes directing all sales, marketing, and research activities, as well as managing client engagements and projects. Ms. Williams began her career in the sector over 15 years ago as a Director of Admissions, and worked her way up to a number of key senior management positions. Ms. Williams joined LRA Worldwide following an extensive and notable career working with a number of industry leaders in the senior housing sector. Just prior to joining LRA, Ms. Williams was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Balanced Care Corporation (AMEX:BAL).

While at Balanced Care, Sharon was responsible for supervising and managing all marketing functions for the company's 70 communities in 10 states. A key part of her responsibility was directing Balanced Care's overall branding initiative, where she created and implemented new brands including, Outlook PointeSM Assisted Living and the TreasuresSM program for Alzheimer's Disease and Dimentia. Prior to Balanced Care, Ms. Williams held a variety of senior level positions including Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Kapson Senior Quarters (Woodbury, NY); Corporate Director of Strategic Planning for The Multicare Companies (Hackensack, NJ); and Corporate Field Marketing Research Manager for Healthcare & Retirement Corporation (Toledo, OH). Ms. Williams earned a Master's degree in health care administration from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelor of Science degree in public health from West Chester University. She has been inducted into Eta Sigma Gamma, the national professional honorary society for health services, and also has completed the assisted living administrator certification course in the State of New Jersey.
