Leadership : John Roberto, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Quality Assurance

John Roberto serves as the leader of LRA's Quality Assurance Group and also is a member of the firm's Management Committee. John is a spirited and highly creative individual who has played a key role in helping design and develop many of LRA's innovative quality assurance, mystery shopping, inspection, and compliance programs. John joined LRA with a strong background in the hospitality industry and continues to serve LRA's global hotel clients as an active member of brand standard committees, compliance program development teams and as a speaker for training and development classes. Now in his thirteenth year at LRA, John has traveled extensively around the world and has personally visited more than 1,000 hotel properties. At LRA, he is responsible for managing a number of major client relationships in the hospitality and leisure, sports and entertainment and food services industries. In his role as SVP of the Quality Assurance Group, John oversees all QA projects, coordinating the activities of 95-plus hospitality consultants operating in more than 100 countries worldwide.

John joined LRA after a fifteen-year career in the hospitality industry with Stouffer Hotels Corporation, Four Seasons Hotels and luxury independent properties. His hospitality background includes assignments in urban centers, suburban, and airport markets throughout the United States and executive positions in the Rooms Division, Front Office and Sales management. In addition, John has been the project manager for hotel computer system installations, and was twice elected as a member of an Advisory Board for a Hospitality Software Company. In 1990, he was invited and served as the Housing Manager for the Goodwill Games, an International Sporting Event; he also managed the convention reservation-housing program for the City of Philadelphia.

John is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.
