ROB KAPLAN-SHERMAN
Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Research
In his role as the Managing Director of LRA Worldwide’s Research Practice, Rob is charged with identifying, designing and executing the appropriate research studies required for any CEM engagement, as well as for any stand-alone customer and employee research studies.
Rob brings a wealth of expertise in the design, deployment and analysis of customized qualitative and quantitative research studies for Fortune 500 companies across industry, with a concentration on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty, Six Sigma/Process Improvement, New Product/Service Development, Decision Modeling, Customer Segmentation, Employee Engagement and Brand Imagery studies. Rob works closely with LRA’s other Practice Leaders to deliver a coordinated consulting solution to client projects, and provides oversight on all of LRA Worldwide’s ongoing research projects.
Rob joined LRA Worldwide after spending 15 years working with leading market research firms, most recently as a Vice President with Hase/Schannen Research in Princeton, NJ; he works with a diverse roster of clients primarily within the Financial Services, Healthcare, Automotive, Food & Beverage and Utilities industries. In a typical client engagement, Rob’s focus is on consulting with the client at the executive level to develop research tools to address specific business problems, then mapping the results to key business objectives and financial outcomes
Rob is a frequent speaker at client training sessions and market research industry events, presenting recently at the Edison Electric Institute Market Research Workshop (Washington, DC) and the Market Research Association National Convention (Seattle, WA). He has also been published in Nursing Research magazine.
Rob attended Indiana University’s Graduate Program in Sociology, and earned his undergraduate degree cum laude in sociology and psychology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.
